Orange has always showed their keen interest in Windows Mobile phones. They had models like
SPV E650 which worked in the platform of Windows Mobile 6.0 and now they have come up with more sophisticated touch screen model called Orange Touch. Its a collaborative effort with HTC Dual Touch Phones.
Orange is the first pan-European operator to launch touch phone in UK. Before we glimpse at the features of the mobile lets see what makes its internal set up. The phone is a Windows mobile and the device has 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM, quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and supports almost all desirable frequencies for network. The dimension of the phone is just 99 x 58 x 13.9mm. Orange Touch is genuinely light and small smart phone. There are two colours to make a choice from black and green.
The phone offers a very convenient way of accessing the applications. Just a touch is enough. Orange Touch has some similar features like the original HTC Dual Touch phones like TouchFLO, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and others. Orange has decided for 12 keys keypad instead of 20 keys and has introduced some changes to the screen of the phone.
Orange Touch phone has a 2 megapixel camera for quality photography and video imaging. You can use Internet Explorer for emails, uploading data and browsing other things in the Internet. This pocket PC has a 2.8" TFT LCD screen which supports 65,000 colours. The TouchFLO technology helps you to browse, scroll up and down documents faster. You can view webpages, messages, documents and contacts just with the movement of your finger.
Sweep from bottom to top, left to right, right to left on the screen of Orange Touch. You feel the zeal of mobile technology and how they have made things more simpler for us. The inclusion of GPS and Wi-Fi Internet could have made things more comfortable in this mini computer phone. Well, lets hope for the best that Orange Touch comes up with these features later on.
